space [aaron photo] Name : Aaron

Instrument : Guitar

Birthdate : 14/01/78

Joined up : Early ‘99

Musical influences : Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jagori Tanna, Elvis Presley

Little-known fact : Aaron actually auditioned for the role of one of the O'Doyle brothers in Billy Madison. (O'DOYLE RULES!) This is not even a joke.

Aaron is the most recent addition to Zygote’s lineup and comes to us from now-defunct Toronto band Ank. Although our youngest member, he’s been active in various bands since the tender age of thirteen. Onstage he’s the silent partner, preferring to let his guitar do the speaking for him....and speak it does. His style is tasteful, but not the tasteful that you call someone when they can’t play fast. Occasionally he lets loose with a blistering barrage of notes that’ll leave you wondering what planet he comes from. Other times you can practically hear the restraint as he leans back and concentrates on crunching out chunky rhythms for the band to react to. Despite his rookie status, Aaron’s crude sense of humour has earned him a very quick acceptance into the band’s offstage dynamic. He’s settled into his role well, and is now a familiar hulking presence under the lights for Zygote’s fans.

Quote : “Would you let me finish? Aww damn, now I forgot what I was going to say.”
